Attendance and Punctuality
- Attendance in school is compulsory. Absence from school must be supported by a medical certificate. Excuse from school may be granted on compassionate grounds and on a case-by-case basis. All medical certificates or letters of excuse must be submitted to the class teacher immediately when the student returns to school. Absence without valid reason will be deemed as truancy.
- Parents need to apply for leave of absence for their child from the Principal to leave or absent themselves from school for urgent private matters. Permission to leave school early may be granted for special cases.the class teacher must be informed by the student and permission must be obtained from the Principal. Students may leave for weddings and other programs in the family
- Students must be punctual for school, CCA and all school events. Students who are late for school i.e. after morning assembly are subjected to late-coming procedures which include a report slip before they are allowed back to class.

LEAVE AND ABSENCE
- Every absence (sick leaves or otherwise) must be entered briefly in the NON-ATTENDANCE LEAVE RECORD pages towards the end of this diary and signed by the parent or guardian along with a written leave application.
- Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than fifteen consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls: readmission, if granted, will be done on payment of fresh admission fee.
- Those who come late must show their REGULARITY RECORD duly filled and signed by the Principal.
- All are expected to attend class on the opening day after each of the vacations. Those absent because of sickness must present a medical certificate before they are admitted to class.
- Absence for more than three days immediately after a vacation renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
- Half-day leave will not be granted to students. Once they come to school, they have to attend the whole day. They are not allowed to go out of the school campus during school hours, including recess time. In case of serious illness, the Principal must be informed within five days, with a Doctor’s certificate accompanied by the leave application from the parent.
DISCIPLINE
The school premises should always be kept neat clean. Everyone mus take care to throw waste paper or material into wastebasket or bins provided. Students are strictly forbidden to purchase any article of food and other things from unauthorized vendors. Any kind of damage to the school property must immediately be reported and must be made good. Parents are not allowed to walk into the classrooms. The parents who wish to contact the teachers about the progress of their children shall get the permission of the Principal. No collection in cash / kind shall be taken and no meeting, party or picnic or any kind of organized school activity shall be arranged without the previous permission of the Principal. Once the students come to school, they will not be allowed to go home early for attending functions like marriage and other social or religious ceremonies. They shall attend the whole session. The school Diary issued to the students is to be kept neat and tidy all through the year and brought to school every day. It is the means of communication between the school authorities and the parents. The students are prohibited to bring any electronic goods like mobile phones, cameras etc...They are not supposed to wear any fancy item or ornaments. The students are not allowed to use or consume things like pan masala, chewing-gum etc. in the school campus. The medium of instruction being English, the language spoken in the school premises is ENGLISH. The students must have proper care of hair at all times, avoid long nails, colouring nails and other modern fashion styles. Boys shall avoid long hair and no change in hair style.
DISMISSAL
Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or defiance of authority, lack of sufficient improvement in studies and conduct even after warnings, or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student. Astudent who fails more than once in the same class shall be removed from school. The decision of the Principal shall be final in this matter. Any student dismissed from the School on disciplinary grounds shall have the same mentioned in his Transfer Certificate.
PROMOTION
- Promotion is granted on the basis of the work of the pupil. The average marks of the examination are taken into consideration and the child who secures an average of 33% per subject will only be promoted.
- Results declared at the end of the year are final for all cases, and will not be reconsidered, nor will the answer scripts be shown.
- No. examination will be taken either before or after the scheduled time.
- Failure in more than one subject especially in English is a sufficient reason for not granting promotion.
- Answer scripts of the final examination will not be shown.
- 75% attendance including the attendance in the schools attended earlier is necessary for the promotion of a child.
- Any kind of malpractice in the examination is punishable with expulsion from the Examination Hall and subsequent cancellation of the paper or the whole examination.
CODE OF CONDUCT
- By belonging to this school, I shall be loyal to it. It shall be my constant endeavor to uphold the honour and the traditions of my school.
- I shall conduct myself with due respect to the school authorities and staff, greet them, and obey their legitimate orders.
- I shall be punctual to the school.
- I shall always be truthful and never give or take dishonest help.
- I shall always be ready to lend a helping hand at home to my parents, brothers and sisters, and in school to my teachers and companions.
- I shall never use bad language but always speak politely. Using 'Sorry', 'Thank you', 'Please', 'Pardon Me', 'May I', 'Can I', etc., as often as I can.
- I shall practice tolerance and brotherliness.
- I shall not leave the class without the teacher's permission and the school without the Principal's permission.
- I know that writing or scrubbing on the walls and furniture is a serious offence. So I shall refrain from it.
- I shall work hard and study my lessons regularly without putting off the day's work for the next day.
- I shall not eat or chew anything during the class.
